Thank you for being a part of our journey

Retirement – Take Two

After serving our guests for 23 wonderful years we will gently step into retirement. We are immensely grateful for the opportunity to have hosted you all and created lasting memories. Thank you for being a part of our journey and what a memorable ride it has been.

We’ll move forward with a Gentler Transition into Retirement

We had hoped to open the Old Parkdale Inn B&B as simply the Old Parkdale Inn, as a guest house, though the county requires, per our Bed and Breakfast Facility license, that we either continue serving breakfast, could be as little as toast and coffee, or apply for a Short Term Rental license, neither option we wanted to do. After much thought (and a long story made short), we’ll be reducing both occupancy and breakfast offerings – though our signature Hearty Northwest Breakfast will remain on the table. We’ve  updated our reservation calendar and we’re ready to welcome you back.

We truly appreciate your understanding as we make these adjustments. Our goal is to keep offering the same care, comfort, and sense of place you’ve come to know us for—just in a way that allows us to balance hospitality with this new chapter of life. 2026 may feel a little ways off, but it will be here before we know it, and we can’t wait to share our home and hearty breakfasts with you once again.

Although we have been actively searching for a new place to call our own, this exceptional Craftsman home has undeniably established a very impressive benchmark for us.
