Give for the Gorge is a crowdfunding campaign designed to preserve the landscapes and communities of the Columbia River Gorge. By supporting Give for the Gorge, you will help preserve the natural beauty and magic of this scenic area, and the communities of hardworking residents who make this place so special.
We are proud and excited to announce that the Old Parkdale Inn Bed and Breakfast is now a business partner with Give for the Gorge. Steve and I will match every tax deductible dollar you donate. By supporting us and other partners you will help to keep the Gorge a beautiful place to live and play for generations to come.
How Give for the Gorge works
Give for the Gorge uses collective giving to benefit the communities of the Gorge. When shopping, dining, or recreating with Give for the Gorge businesses, you are given an opportunity to “tip for the Gorge” by writing in a donation or rounding up to the next dollar. At the Old Parkdale Inn you may choose to add a donation to your bill when making your reservation online. Or donate while you're here. You may also donate directly at Give Today. Thank you for your generosity! The funds raised are equally disbursed among participating nonprofits every quarter.
Where your donations go. Some of the projects and the nonprofits your support is funding:

We’re your home base for exploring and enjoying the Hood River Valley and beyond. After a full day, you’ll love the peace and tranquility of the Old Parkdale Inn. Relax in the gardens, perhaps with your favorite beverage, by the bonfire, roast some s’mores, weather permitting of course.
