Douglas Fir Suite at the Old Parkdale Inn Bed and Breakfast
By: Mary Pellegrini
Spacious and Comfortable
From the Douglas Fir Suite, enhanced by the quiet beauty of a Pacific Northwest forest, enjoy a breathtaking view of majestic Mt. Hood. Named after Oregon’s State Tree, our Doug Fir suite includes a sitting room, bedroom with queen-sized bed and private bath.
Douglas Fir Suite has a twin size sofa bed and we welcome you to register 1 extra person 12 years or older in this room. If Doug Fir is available, and depending on the other guests in the house we may allow a child under 12. Please inquire.
Douglas Fir Suite is our canine friendly room. You may register one dog when you make your reservation and agree to our canine guest policy. Rest assured if you are not traveling with a dog you'll see no signs that one has been in the room.
The private bath has shower/tub combination, and plush cotton spa towels and robes. We provide all organic bath and body products that are never tested on animals. Eco-friendly mattresses are made up with thick pads, luxurious Comfy Sheets, four organic cotton pillows, and natural fiber blankets and comforters.
The Hood River County lodging moratorium has been listed and we're back in business and taking reservations with our promise of a safe and great escape. Thank you for trusting us to be your home away from home. We've posted our Hospitality and Health Update on our website. Purchase a gift certificate for yourself or loved one.
Let us be home base for exploring and enjoying the Hood River Valley and Mt Hood National Forest. After a full day, you’ll love the peace and tranquility of the Old Parkdale Inn. Relax in the gardens, perhaps with a glass of wine from a bottle you picked up at a local winery or our wine cabinet. We can even have a bonfire, roast some s’mores, if you’d like. We now have EV and Tesla Chargers for guest use.
Outdoor adventures such as kayaking, windsurfing, skiing, snow boarding, and hiking await. Mt. Hood Meadows, Cooper Spur Mountain Resort, and Timberline Ski areas are only a short drive away, as is the vast Mt. Hood National Forest where trails and wildlife abound. We partner with Mt Hood Meadows and Timberline Ski Area, offering multi-night packages and access to discounted lift tickets. Stay at the Inn and take advantage of our partnership with Wet Planet Whitewater to receive $10 your raft adventure.
