Fall Foliage in the Columbia Gorge and the Mt Hood National Forest as Autumn Approaches In The Gorge

Columbia River Gorge was noted as the third best spot in a recent foliage destination list, right behind Aspen and the Catskills! But we’ve known about the foliage show for a long time. Add the colors of the Mt Hood National Forest and the acres and acres of fruit trees and you will be in awe with the splendor. Nothing says “fall” like the blazing red, glimmering gold, and burnt-orange leaves that cover trees and crunch underfoot during the autumn months.

Bike or drive the backroads, hike the forests or sit in our gardens with a throw over your legs, a warming bonfire at your feet and watch the colors around you change. Stay midweek through October, avoid the fruit picking weekend crowds, take time to unwind and take advantage of our Drop Dead Savings. Still some weekend rooms available. Check our online availability calendar.

With the surge in the Delta Virus we're all in a serious battle with this virus. We've made the decision to be part of the solution and have gone back to modified early pandemic protocol. We've blocked one room through 2021, leaving only our two suites, Douglas Fir and Chinook available. We'll be staggering breakfast times and giving the option for breakfast in your suite, at the dining room table or outside, weather permitting of course. Because we have one less room available we've extended this deal into November so that you all get a chance to get some Drop Dead Savings.

We're taking reservations with our promise of a safe and great escape. Thank you for trusting us to be your home away from home. We've posted our Hospitality and Health Update on our website. Purchase a gift certificate yourself or loved one.
