How to Stay, Play, Ski and Relax like a pro in Mt Hood Parkdale, Old Parkdale Inn Mt Hood Meadows and Timberline Ski Areas will manage slope capacity two different ways. An advisory group of ski industry leaders developed the Ski Well, Be Well operational best practices. These practices, adapted to each ski area’s unique operation, can be scaled according to the appropriate local COVID-19 response.

Mt Hood Meadows Lift tickets can be purchased for a specific date and time and are dynamically priced meaning as more tickets are purchased for a certain day, the price for that day increases. All lift tickets, lessons and rentals must be purchased online in advance – they will not be available at the resort this season. Purchasing for specific dates online in advance assures you the lowest price.

Timberline Ski Area capacity will still be managed based on how many cars our parking lot is able to safely accommodate, first-come-first-served. However, our uphill ski area capacity far exceeds the number of parking spots. When the lot is at a safe operating capacity, Timberline Rd. will close. People will be allowed up when spaces become available. Please plan on arriving after 7am when the roads are plowed, but well before 9am to gain access before the road closes. Anticipate capacity to free up in the afternoons when people often leave after a morning of skiing.

SNO-PARK PERMITS

  • Annual permit which you can use for the current winter season of November 1 to April 30,
  • 3-day permit which you can use on three consecutive days, and
  • 1-day permit which you can use on one calendar day.

These will be required if you’re driving a vehicle to The Mountain and designated area.
