Foodie February: Come eat, and imbibe, with our local culinary experience
By: Mary Pellegrini
We’re excited to announce the return of Foodie February and have created a package you're sure to enjoy
One complete getaway itinerary, packed with local culinary experiences!
Day 1: Check in, get settled at the Old Parkdale Inn where a small plate Charcuterie board with cured meats, cheeses, veggies, nuts, olives, dried fruits, crackers awaits!
When you’re ready for dinner head to either Apple Valley BBQ or Solera Brewery, both walking distance from the inn. You'll have a coupon for both so we suggest having dinner at one the first night and the other the second night. Or you can dine at the same one both nights. Your choice. Stroll back to the inn and enjoy the serenity that comes with the Old Parkdale Inn.
Day 2: Wake to freshly brewed coffee and a creative, healthy, delicious breakfast, prepared with the freshest fruits and vegetables for which the Hood River Valley is famous. Then head over to the Grateful Vineyard for a beverage tasting of your choice. This small family farm produces wine, beer and cider all on site Oregon. Then it's back to the Inn, freshen up for dinner at either Apple Valley BBQ or Solera. An after dinner dessert plate will be in your room when you return to be enjoyed with a glass of local port.
Day 3: Sleep in a bit, relax and when you're ready to come down another healthy breakfast will be ready for you. Coffee is always ready by 6:30 and we serve breakfast at your chosen time until 9:30. Check out is 11
