Dinner, A Play, Blossoms and the Old Parkdale Inn
By: Mary Pellegrini
Enjoy this theater package. Two nights lodging at the Old Parkdale Inn Bed and Breakfast, a dining card for Celilo Restaurant and two tickets to see Arthur Millers ‘All My Sons’ at the Columbia Center for the Arts in downtown Hood River. This compelling play tells the story of an American family caught up in the struggle between personal responsibility and duty to their country. The play show through May and what a wonderful month to visit the Hood River Valley.
The Old Parkdale Inn is located in the Upper Hood River Valley, a valley that is the largest pear-growing region in our nation. Not only pears but apples, peaches, plums, cherries, all blooming at the same time. The buds are beginning to swell on the trees and May should be THE month to marvel when 15,000+ acres of blossom carpet the valley floors and foothills. Maybe a special Mother’s Day Romantic Getaway?
