The presence of three of Oregon's unique natural wonders, Multnomah Falls, the nations second-highest, year-round waterfall, the Columbia River Gorge and Mt. Hood, Oregon's tallest peak, make the region a perfect place to start your Oregon journey.  Begin at the End of the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center, a unique museum with living history presentations, exhibits, artifacts and heirlooms before heading into the gorge for a geological journey through time.  Visit the Bonneville Dam, where you count spawning salmon making their trip upstream from an underwater visitor center.
