Tee off in the Hood River Valley
By: Mary Pellegrini
The Old Parkdale Inn is situated in the scenic Hood River Valley and only minutes from the Indian Creek Golf Course. Spectacular views of Mt Hood, Oregon’s tallest peak and Mt Adams, across the Columbia River in Washington, follow you as you play some of the best greens in Oregon. Indian Creek and two others meander through many holes, posing interesting challenges. Eleven of the holes have water in place and provide santuary for a variety of wildlife. Tee off during the week for less crowds, a more flexible tee time and a better chance of getting a room at the Old Parkdale Inn. After a round of golf enjoy the wineries near by in the Hood River Valley before heading back to Divots Restaurant in the Clubhouse which offers a wonderful choice of fabulous food and breathtaking views of our Mountains.
